"THIS RESORT WAS UNTOUCHED FROM THE HURRICANE-EXCELLENT BUY" The Ocean Reef Yacht Club and Resort offers accommodations in Freeport Lucaya on Grand Bahama Island, approximately six miles from Grand Bahama Airport and less than a mile from the closest beach. The hotel is on the water, but there is not a beach on the property. There is not a full service restaurant on the property, but the pool bar serves breakfast and lunch. The property's amenities include a 55-slip marina, dive shop, tennis court, two swimming pools, a swim-up bar, volleyball court, boat and bike rentals, Monday night buffet and cocktail party, water sports for a fee, shuttle to nearby market and beaches, and beach towels.There are 63 guest units at this hotel. These town houses can accommodate up to eight (8) persons comfortably, with sleeping quarters for all. Our large two story layout has two bedrooms, upstairs and a third bedroom downstairs each with its own bath. A King size bed occupies the master bedroom while a Queen size bed is in the upstairs guest bedroom. The downstairs bedroom has two twin beds with private bathroom and shower and the living room has a pull out sleeper couch. Washer, Dryer, Dishwasher, Coffee pot and Microwave oven is all included in these accommodations.
