In centuries past, Native Americans came to this natural playground to race their horses and challenge themselves in games of strength and agility. Today, our guests discover more ways to relax and have fun than they ever imagined could be found in one beautiful place. Located on the shores of beautiful Lake Chelan, the resort is only 3 1/2 hours from the Seattle area and 3 hours from Spokane. Wapato Point consists of 116 acres of meticulously groomed grounds and over 1 1/2 miles of waterfront. Wapato Point has amenities that include six tennis courts, one indoor and seven outdoor pools, an indoor hot tub, as well as miniature golf. You can rent a bicycle to explore the area. Several facilities in nearby Mason now offer live entertainment. The resort is on Lake Chelan, which offers most water sports. Paddleboats, canoes, and sailboats are available for rent. In Chelan, seven miles away, you'll find Slidewaters Amusement Park. In winter, cross-country and downhill skiing are available at nearby Echo Valley or, only an hour away, visit Mission Ridge, with a vertical drop of 2,000 feet. Seasonal recreational activities are available. There are several wineries (thirteen at latest count) in the area which offer daily tastings and tours.
