Lawai Beach Resort is situated in Poipu, just steps from one of Kauai's best beaches for snorkeling, surfing, and whale-watching. Visitors who prefer a total vacation experience will appreciate the thoughtful amenities at Lawai Beach, including the fitness center, tennis, miniature golf, arcade games, pool tables, swimming pools, Jacuzzis, barbecue grills, a convenience store, and lending libraries. Several restaurants are also just a 10-minute drive away in Poipu and Old Koloa Town. The Alii Building had under gone a major makeover and is now the model unit for the proposed renovations. These renovations are results of input from owners and consultation with an interior decorator. These enhancements are designed to modernize the 25-year-old unit interiors:• The flooring in all areas except the bedroom is now porcelain tile. • The tub in the bathroom has been removed and a tile walk-in shower has been installed. In the two bedroom units the walk in shower was done in the master bath and the guest bath has new tub and tiling. The walk-in showers have made entering more accessible, roomy and shower easier for housekeeping to clean and maintain. • The tile throughout the unit (bath, kitchen, hall, living room and the lanai) is now consistent. • In island architecture, the lanai is truly part of the inside living area and we wanted to capture that concept by tiling the lanai as well. • The kitchen entry in our 2 bedrooms has been relocated just a bit to allow a larger fridge. •New furniture has been replaced in both the living room and bedroom to give a more tropical feel to the unit. • New 40” HD TV in the living room and 22” HD TV in the bedrooms has also been installed. • The “popcorn” ceiling has been removed and textured. This greatly improves the look of the room and will aid in future maintenance and cleaning. • Lastly, the counter tops have been replaced in the kitchen and bathroom with granite and new sinks were installed
